So I keep hearing about people arranging for certain villagers to be in their towns and trading with people and etcetera. But how does one do this?
I know that if you talk to them with Wisp or when they're in the campsite you can ask them to move in, but is there a way to kick them out of your town/ get them to leave sooner?
And people trade villagers but how does one do this? Do you have to visit their town first?
Thanks,
Aubrey.

If someone has a villager 'in boxes' (i.e. they are moving out and their house is all boxed up) you can go to their town and ask if the villager wants to move to your town. Often people will expect something in return, such as in-game Bells, TBT, another villager, etc. You can't kick villagers out of your town but there are some guides on YouTube that suggest ways to get them to move out faster but I'm unsure of how reliable they are.

There's no sure fire way to get someone to move out quicker. It's just random. You just have to TT each day and make sure you get a villager to ping you. You can also talk to your villagers and sometimes they'll say there's a rumor that so-and-so is planning to move. To trade, both parties must have the villagers in boxes. That's usually the easiest way to make sure everything goes smoothly~
