I mostly use the locker and the letters in the post office. I hate just dropping stuff on the ground because I'm a total neat freak. Only one of my museum rooms is used for storage. I have all of my Gracie clothing "on display", in an attempt to pass it off as an exhibit, lol.
That's a good idea! I have a room dedicated to Gracie clothing in the museum, too, but it's really unorganized because I have a lot of Streetpass items dropped on the ground as well.
I have so much trouble with storage space, to be honest. I have some thing stored in letters at the post office, but have most things in the museum; and my lockers are almost always completely full. Post office storage is just for the Nintendo and Gulliver sets - just random stuff that I don't use often - because I will forget what I put there.
I wish there was more closet space. ;_; I don't want to sell any of my favorite unorderable sets, but there's no room! I'm going to have to start moving stuff to my second character.
I put a lot of Gracie clothing and things I wanted to save using the save mail. Got a new letter and wrote what item is inside.
I can find the dresses quickly.
One museum room has my favorite Gracie clothing. There is room to walk down to the end.
A month ago I bought abunch of tables for my basement. Placed my favorite hats and glasses on them.
Favorite and lucky certain lucky items are in my closet. I have a bottom and a top for each theme.
Made sure to keep a cat dress, plaid cami dress and others for lucky items. My closet now has extra space.
Running out of space add another player. Put all your clothing in their houses. The player can drop the item outside for the mayor to put on. I didn't run out of space in my extra town but put all the clothing on display. It's my streetpass house. Added other DLC that is orderable in that house for passers.
I keep my golden watering can, golden shovel, fishing rod, and net on me but I keep my golden sling shot and golden axe by my train station. ^-^ extra stuff like clothes I organize in my closet and furniture too. I also set up a museum exhibit to put furniture sets I don't want to sell.
I use the locker and my alt characters lockers. I am using 2 rooms in the museum for storage which contain a lot of unorderable items. I also have them organized. clothes, hats, dresses, etc. for sets I put them together and have the extra pieces next to each other so I don't have to look for them. same goes for unorderables. since I am such a hoarder I put them together. except for re-orderables I just throw those in at the end. put I like to have the rest in order. I like having everything in a neat order.
I don't really have any rhyme or reason to where I store things. I toss things into my lockers, basements, and museum exhibits. It's a very disorganized way of doing it, but I'm too lazy to organize things better.
