I have Rosie moving in on the next game date.

The house's lot is an area I don't want it.

I discovered this with the time just minutes after 06 a.m.

How do I reset? Am I to turn off the 3DS, turn it on, and keep redoing? That it would move it eventually?

I'm assuming you used your mayor? If so, nothing you can do sorry :<

I did go on as Mayor.

I am playing against a clock anyway.

I have Simon moving the next game date. (And I do have someone wanting to take him.)

Rosie's lot takes away numerous bushes, which were nice, and is in the northern part of my town. But it is doable. I can live with it.

The people behind the scenes at "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" really need to implement, for the next "Animal Crossing," zoning that allows for a town's Mayor (a player's top character) to have say in where housing is placed in one's town. They can do it; if they care enough to do so.

Thanks, everyone!

How to reset if you want to next time.

Is just create a new save on the day you are expecting a move in. If you like their house placement create that new save. You can delete it later on.

When you go on mayor the game saves automatically for that day.

:) I'm glad it's workable.

You can't reset the plot location if you've already loaded the game as your mayor or any other resident character. The only way to reset the location is to create a new save file the first time you play the game for that day.

If you like the spot then go through the normal routine of creating your character until you're allowed to save, if not then just keep creating a new character until you find a spot you like :)
