How do you pronounce Pate's name?

I just say Nakki! LOL That's her Japanese name! She was in my original NA town- first to ever leave in fact. I always said it like you do, long A sound, like gate, because there's no accent mark on the e- there's no "?" at the end.

I say pate, rhyming with gate. I'd say that it would have to have an accent to be "pat-tay".

Yeah it's definitely pat-ay. I mean she's a duck and pate is often made with ground up duck bits.
