I know most people play on the switch but I also know that because of joystick drift it made playing difficult or impossible for a lot of players.

Like me for example, my left joycon can make no other movements other than right no matter how much I tried. So instead I play acnh on a small tv with a gc controller. I'm interested in what other peoples response to this will be

Just on my switch. Yes it has a little drift sometimes, but I want it on a tv and with the original controller. Ok a pro controller would be fine but they are hard to find for a normal price at the moment...just like every switch-related hardware :P

I use a bluetooth dongle and PS4 controller. I tried using a gamecube controller but as far as I know, there isn't a capture button on it. I haven't tried to change the controller layout in the Switch settings, though.

Switch Lite because I got no other options lol
I want a Switch lite because of how much nicer it feels than the rickety original Switch, but I hear the lite suffers from drift as well. Not to mention I'd have no way to retrieve my data since Nintendo doesn't believe in cloud saves for Animal Crossing.

Yeah my joycon drift got pretty bad. I found a weird but alternative way to play.

I have a large traveling case for the switch and I can prop it up in it. So it sits in that on my lap while I hold the controller.

It does feel nicer, but that could just be the case I have on it lol. Yeah they didn't fix drift for the Lite, and since I went in knowing that I just try to be gentle with the joysticks. My left stick now has some crud in it, so I have some problems moving if I tilt it at certain angles, but it hasn't become full-on drift yet. I've had mine since I think around September when it came out.

Docked in the morning. Handheld in the evening while watching ACNH streamers on Twitch.

Always handheld and with drifty joycons, haha 😅 Some days it’ll be really bad and some days (like today) it is completely fine so my set up is tolerable at the moment. I can’t play docked because my house is way too hot and my switch will surely explode lol.

I always play docked except when the tv is used by someone else. I am tempted to get a lite eventually (for multiple reasons)

I play it on my switch. I really play all games on my switch as it’s easier to take with me wherever, even in the house.

In the morning and when I want to quickly check something, I play handheld. But I prefer to play docked.

I play handheld 99% of the time. I got the ACNH special edition Switch, so if my joycons start to drift anytime soon... suffice it to say I will not be happy lol. Sometimes I play tabletop with a pro controller. I want to play docked more often, it just never feels very convenient.

I almost always play it handheld. We have one tv and my husband’s Xbox has claimed it, lol. I like playing handheld more anyways. I haven’t had an issue with joycon drift, but I just got my Switch in March so I’m crossing my fingers I don’t in the future!!

About 95% of the time I play handheld, especially if it’s golden hour/sunset because I find the orange colours to be too intense on my TV screen. Luckily I haven’t run into problems with drift yet, so I just use the controllers that came with the Switch.

I always go handheld. I like being able to position myself whichever way I want while I play. I could be in a chair or in bed. I only have it docked when I'm not using it.

I'm split 50/50. I play both ways and like both equally. I'm usually docked if I'm playing online with some friends, and I prefer handheld if I just want to sit in my bed and play or something.
