How do you make villagers move out fast?

What is the fastest way to make villagers move out?

Time travel two days ahead, then TT back to the original date. A villager will say they want to move.

I've had situations where they don't. Just walk in front of your villagers and they'll do that 'ping!' noise and ask you something (Usually moving.) But if they don't, double check and talk to some villagers. They'll tell you if ones moving or not. I'm not sure if when you TT forward 2 days, you have to stand still (Without moving or doing anything) and save, but I'm not completely sure; that's just what I do to be safe. If no one brings up moving, and you've checked all your villagers - just try again. If you have a lot of your dreamies, be careful. I lost a few of mine by not paying attention to my villagers dialogue or ignoring their 'ping!' without noticing. But yeah, It's definite using Time Travel.

What do you mean by "you have to stand still (Without moving or doing anything) and save, but I'm not completely sure; that's just what I do to be safe."?

I mean, once you leave your house (Like you always do when you start up your file), you just save and quit without doing anything. Honestly, I'm not really sure. I heard this from other people so it might/might not be true. Sorry for not being too specific. c:
