How do you like your villagers houses?

So, im working on my brand new town. Before I landscape, I get my dreamies first so that it doesnt interfere with my landscaping. Im plot resetting them, and I wanted to know if you guys had any ideas for how I should place them. All over the place? A straight line? Diagonally? etc. Also, I do plan to decorate each villagers house with flowers, and most likely also bushes, as well as some river qr paths. I like to add a lot of detail.. So, in order to incorporate this, I was thinking having them spread out across the town. (In suitable places of course)

Yeah ok agree on spread around. Especially since your gonna be putting a lot around each house. Though I would suggest not to make them so far apart that it takes you a while to get to their houses.

yeah, i'd suggest spreading them out if you plan to do a lot of landscaping around them! it doesn't have to be a huge gap between each one, but i'd just scatter them around one area. you could also use a random qr code to mark where each house will be, and then plant the flowers/other stuff around and see if you like how it looks before you actually plot the houses. c:​
