how do you guys plant ur fertilizer

for maximum work? because ive spent about a good +20 bags on this patch of blue violets & i probably got 5 out of them ((but they didnt appear where i buried it))

how do you guys plant it? i just got the golden shovel & i was like hmmmmm maybe it work better now but no. still nothing.

i have it spaced kind of like

does it also depend on the plant? because it also worked better for my carnations & purple roses, granted the new ones also sprouted somewhere else than where i buried the fert

If you put too much fertilizer in the ground, there won't be enough space for the flowers to grow. I try not to put too much fertilizer in a patch. Maybe just 1 or 2 per patch. Then you're guaranteed to have around 2 flowers grow. It's not much, but it's better than overdoing it.

I do it like this so I get 2 a day:
(X=Fertilizer O=Hybrids ~=Empty ground)

no omg not 20 a day but like 1 for 20 days, where 5 of the 20 days i got a result. i always put it in between like

O being the fertilizer. i put it there, or in between one in the row with 3 & i usually get nothing

I do that, but with two flowers per O and it usually produces about four new flowers a day.
