Hey everyone!

Like everyone else on this forum, I am a huge Animal Crossing fan. Unfortunately, I'm a very busy person, so I don't necessarily have the time to maintain a town, let alone two or three towns like some of you. I was just wondering how all of you find the time to visit your beloved towns. I would love to play more than I do now, but life just happens and life just has to come first. Do you guys have any ideas of how to get at least 30 minutes of play time during the day? I would love some suggestions. :)

i work 40 hours a week and still maintain (for the most part) three towns; a lot of times i only manage to do the daily tasks in each town per day, and check to see if anyone pings to move. but it's still better than nothing! i use my days off to landscape or do other stuff that isn't just the basics. i guess it's just all about managing what things you can do in a really short period of time or picking a time each day to do them before work/school. i usually do mine right when i wake up. C:

Hmmm well I'm a uni student but I'm still able to play Animal Crossing and Splatoon often, with that said I don't have much of a life outside. When ACNL released I would play for hours on end a day, but now I'll probably only play 2 hours or so. I also bring my DS to school sometimes lol :p

I only have 1 town. If I had 2 or more I feel like I'd never get to work early like I do now.

If I find that I'm too busy to play (I have three towns) I usually check my activity log after a hiatus and TT back to when I last played that way no one moves out that I don't want to and I can TT forward to catch back up without the consequences. It does help that one town is like 98% finished, another is like 50% finished. My third one has a lot of work done, but I've only collected two dreamies thus far.

I kind of divide my attention to each game depending on how I play it. My main town I just took a break from, but I would play that one the most since it was most developed. My second town I've been plot resetting, so I play for a little bit to see if I get a ping from a villager asking to move and play accordingly. My third town I play pretty casually and keep it on the current time to kind of...dissuade myself from playing that one too late. My other towns are set hours behind the real time.

i work full time and go to school so yeah i actually dont have time to take care of my town. i just have one... i cant imagine taking care of more than one >_<
i always check my ds to see the last time i played, then use the 3ds clock to travel back to that day, and i've never had a problem with it. everything progresses really slowly, but i don't lose any villagers or get any weeds, so i dont really mind.

All of these ideas are great. All I have to do is make time to play. TT is always an option too, but I should get into a habit of playing every day. Thanks for your opinions! I appreciate it!!! :)

I go to uni and I live on res and I actually haven't played it much since the beginning of the term but now that finals are coming up I've been doing that study 45 minutes, break 15 minute method of studying and during my breaks I've been running around town doing my 'dailies'... It's kind of given me incentive to start playing again actually haha

I'm working towards a theme in my second town (first town is complete), I play if I have some leisure time, otherwise school and life take up most of my time now :/

Don't quit your job ever. If you want to find your time to play, you can squeeze your play time into these:

- lunch break
- in the toilet : may be disgusting
- wake up a little bit earlier
- get ready and eat quicker so you can play more at night or in the morning
- don't rush, but you can reduce your time you spend on homework
- speed up some activities like shopping, cooking or eating

I'm a real early riser and I can never seem to sleep more than 4 hours in one go. I play ACNL in the morning from around 5-8am, it's quite therapeutic really as I can be a terribly anxious person. The rest of the day is devoted to my fianc? and daughter. Once the baby goes to sleep at 8pm or so, I can usually have a little more ACNL time then.

Just mould it around your life! If like me, you choose not to time-travel, it helps to set an town ordinance that works with your play-time. I use the early bird ordinance, so I can get all my shopping done at 7am!

I only have the one town do I can only give advice on that. I work a roughly 35-40 hour week. I sometimes take my DS with me and try to play 15-20 mins on my commute

I'm a full time worker and a mother of 1 and I usually play on train to and from work and at night when everyone's asleep. I'm lucky I'm a nocturnal yaay ;D

I think I will go and restart my town now, lol. I want a fresh start so that I can make playing this game a habit. It shows that when people take time to play this that they really love and enjoy playing it. I'm glad I could gain some input from everyone who replied, thanks again! Keep being dedicated to AC!!!!!!!!
