How do you go about resetting your town?

I want to reset and start over, try to get different towns people, maybe also a different lay out and was curious on how you go about doing that. Do I need Resetti?

I guess you talk to isabelle at the start and see what happens-I don't know though never done it.

After selecting your character from the title screen and while Isabelle talks to you she'll give you the option to do something else. By clicking that she'll give you the option to delete your current town.

For the layout, just create your town and get up to the bit where Rover shows you the 4 maps. If you don't like any of the 4 maps, turn your 3ds off, then back on and repeat until you get one you like. As for different villagers / fruit, you have to wait until you get into tbe town to see what youve got, and you have to do the whole thing again to change villagers.
It's hard work, but worth it in the end.

Thank you. What I will do before is wait until I can connect with a friend and have them hold some of the nicer items I own and my bells and then reset.
