How do you gift TBT?

I need to gift someone TBT and can't figure out how to do it. I've looked everywhere and can't figure out how to do it, I must be missing something. And how can you convert them into in game bells? Please help!

Just click on their bells underneath their post count and send the amount you would like to send.

The current rates are 5-7 million in game bells every 100 BTB by the way.​

As far as converting them to in-game bells, that typically involves an in-game transaction where you'd go to the town of another user and drop the desired amount of bells. Usually the user would send the TBT at the halfway point (say you were dropping 5 million bells; they'd send the TBT after you had dropped 2.5 million). This is all based on when I used to regularly purchase TBT bells, so perhaps other people do things differently as far as when they send the TBT. Either way, I hope I was able to help somewhat!

and current rate is 100TBT for 5mil in game. Some are willing to pay higher, btu that's what I have been seeing.

The safest & fastest way would be to look at the "Bells" section under that user's avatar on the sidebar.
>Click on those numbers (for example: you have 410 as of now)
>A pop up menu will come up, and you can enter the amount of bells, along with notes or comments as a record, if you like.
Both of you will receive a transaction receipt instantly,
so it's safe, fast & handy.

Another way would be click on that "Currency" tab > 'Bells"> from that pull down menu.
BUT the catch is you have to enter the correct user name yourself, and sometimes that's where an error would occur,
as some users name might be v similar to each other.

For converting / selling your forum currency to in game bells,
you can go to The TBT Marketplace:

You can start a new thread there, or try one of the several shops/sellers that would buy them from you.
The current conversion rate is *about* 100 BTB to 5-6 mil ingame bells.

I always did this method, except I'd copy and paste the user name so it wouldn't be a chance of it going to the wrong person.

But I'm glad I read this thread because the profile way is much easier. Huh, you learn something new everyday! XD
