How do you get the white christmas tree?

I could've sworn I saw it in Harvey's shop, but I must've been wrong because someone figured out that all of them were hacked in.
So yeah. I'm not sure when the real White Christmas Trees will be released, but any of the ones being sold up to this point have been hacked in.

I think someone linked Nintendo's official Twitter page and they mentioned something about the Japanese version getting the white festive tree through spotpass on December 1st. Nintendo of America or Europe haven't confirmed anything for either regions yet so it's likely that the ones that are circulating are either hacked or traded from Japanese games.

Didn't JP players get one on the 1st from SpotPass? I was hoping NA would get them too, but I'm disappointed cuz I haven't gotten anything in the mail yet. I guess all the giveaways on here and other forums were just hackers.

yeah it was released in japan on the 1st in the mail along with 15 meow coupons. i was really bummed because NA didn't receive anything. :/ i seriously hope this is not a japan exclusive or im going to be pretty mad lol

I see nothing wrong with hacking, but why be so cryptic about the origins of the White Christmas Tree? I now wonder where the original source of these items passed down in Re-Tail came from.

Is it 100% confirmed that Japanese players got this tree on the 1st? I read somewhere on this forum that someone tried their Japanese version of the game and got nothing.

I also heard that you can get them via spotpass but that is either by a Japanese copy or you have to be in Japan. Not sure which.

Not to point fingers but I am pretty sure the trees are hacked on here, unless they are re-orderable. Cause where would someone get so many? XP plus, it's a probable answer of why nobody tells anyone where they get the tree(s) from.

I think they should release the same items in all the same regions. It seems to me that Japan and the UK get all the fun, pretty stuff first and then we get stuff and it's good but not as good. Makes me sad.
