How do you get the other colour ways for nook miles items?

Hello all, I was just wondering how you get the other colour ways for items (nook miles) such as the monster and the tea cup ride etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you have to trade with someone else who has those colors! every island has a specific color for each item assigned to it; you can only get the others through trading.

they are, unfortunately, color-locked and there's no chance to get other colors unless you trade with someone who has them.
