It’s the only resource I’ve found with almost all of them in a .png format. Unfortunately it is missing new villagers, though.

There's plenty of font websites where you can download them to use in imaging editing software, like photoshop and gimp. I think a pretty classic one is dafont, though you can just google 'font websites' and get a ton! The Animal Crossing font however is called 'Rat Fink Heavy' or 'Fink Heavy'.

The 'edit signature' box is virtually identical to the box for making a post. For the actual text in your signature, you have access to some basic fonts. If you want a more flowery font, you'll need to type what you want into an image and then upload the image.

I mean download and install the font you like, open GIMP or photoshop or whatever, type whatever you want, save it, upload it to imgur or wherever, then put that picture in your signature. It's the only way to get text in your signature that isn't in one of the eight fonts the site allows you to use.
