How Do You Get Money?

When I first started out in New Leaf I was ~all~ about the Island. I'd go there multiple times and come back with a ton of rare beetles. Now I make most of my money from the forums since I'm trying to hit the really high level post-office rewards. It would take A LOT OF BEETLES to reach 50M xD

I mostly sell my perfect cherries in other people's towns when they have them on premium. I beetle farm sometimes and sell villagers too.

I used to beetle farm, never really bother with turnips UNLESS someone has a very high price in which case I will load up and sell in their town. Between doing that like.. twice, and selling some popular villagers, I've fully remodeled and furnished my house and I'm still at almost 100mil, so I don't really bother too much with making money anymore.

I have two games so time travel on one to get good price for turnips on a sunday morning when Joan is in my other town. On Sunday I managed to fine a 595 and bought and sold so many turnips! I hope not to see another for a very long time. Bugs/fishing too.

I used to sell mine in other peoples towns , I now trade prefect fruit with friends but I like to keep it to give to villagers in case they ask. I have three towns now with apples, cherries and peaches so I'll probably start selling some again.

I mainly make money from turnips, sometimes bugs and fish.

I just fish in town. It takes me a while to get PWPs sometimes, but it's fun.
