How do you get Gyroids?

If i'm correct, in the other games you just had to dig up a star spot and you had a chance of getting a Gyroid.

But i'm not seeing any, how do you get one in this game?

The day after it rains, gyroids will be buried. There should be about four of them.

Just keep digging! They start appearing eventually.

I've found 3, and they were all the day after rain. My villager even mentioned they appear after rainy days.

Who knows, but my Taiwanese friends say they dance to the tempo of KKK music when placed in your house!

I've had two rainy days in a row so far. I wish more Gyroids could make noise at the same time though.

Also, I confirm that it's 3 a day.
