How do you fix this!!!!

This problem with path designs, Like u get an option of 8 patterns, and lets say u Used pattern number 1 on the ground as a display, and ur trying to take a new QR code from the sewing machine and placing it on number 1 to replace, the new pic displays itself instead of the old pattern number 1!!! like how do u fix this, I want to be able to when i replace patterns that i already used on the ground to not change when i replaced them with the new one..

I might not make sense but this is seriously pissing me off

You can't go over patterns once you have them if you wish to keep them on the ground specifically as paths. In order to get more patterns for designs you can make new characters and put the QR codes on them. Hope this helps.​

and if i do that with a new character then DELETE the character, will the path be deleted too? and when i make a new character will the design already be tehre"?

Yes, if you delete the character with the paths on them, they become blank white.

Also keep in mind you can save patterns with Sable. So if 7/8 of your spaces are take for paths...just keep saving over the 8th but file the previous pattern with Sable before saving over it. I think there's what like 500 spaces with Sable to save pattersn...??
