How do you do your nails/show off your nails!

Since last year most months I get my nails done. I haven’t been good with taking pics before, but I thought it’d be fun to share what they look like and see what other people do!

Currently I go to a shop for gel but I want to start doing it at home.

Originally I just wanted something for fall but they ended up much darker than expected, but good for Halloween haha

I got my nails redone!

Due to time constraints I tried out a local salon instead of my usual one. I got magnetic nails but they weren’t done quite right and I wasn’t asked if it was okay before curing, so it’s not exactly how I wanted them but they’re not bad

I go to an independent nail artist! I get Gel-X extensions but hopefully transitioning to getting gel on my natural nails soon. I’m going back tomorrow for a new set, but my current set is Halloween/spooky themed!!

I do mine all black. Then I go over them with a matte top coat.

Ooh I love your nails!! The design is so cute and the nail artist did a really good job with the precision.
I've never done extensions before I always get mine painted short and then grow them out over the month lol

You should try it! Idk how it looks with other colors, but I think it looks great with black. I'd post a pic, but I have to redo them first

I don't do my nails, it's time consuming and I'm terrible at it. And fake nails feel weird. And I don't have the money to get them done. It would be nice, though.

i used to not really care about my nails, but recently, ive started to grow my nails longer and paint them with rimmel "nail nurse" to help strengthen them and make them shiny! normal clear nail polish was causing peeling so hopefully this helps D: if it works well ill look to get good quality nail polish to add some character especially for Christmas!

I've been getting them done for about a year, then I started doing them myself with custom press-ons. I change them about every three weeks. I've always had longer nails but wasn't able to recently as I started doing more work with my hands. I'm glad I was able to find this compromise as I've always liked the look of it. Yours look great! I don't take a picture every time, but I've some here:

That's really fancy! Mine are my natural nails grown out with just nail polish on them. I started doing them almost a year ago because I wanted to finally stop chewing my nails. It actually worked.

Thank you so much!!! Yesss my nail artist is super talented I love her to DEATH.
I used to be iffy about extensions and didn’t like them at first! I hate when they get too long because then I struggle to type/play games on the pc lol. But I do prefer a little bit of length to my nails, especially because I like to get detailed designs so gives more surface area to play with for my nail tech.

This is my newest set, went with something more simple than usual but I loveee it!

I don't do anything to my nails. I used to when I was younger, but I always ended up removing the varnish about an hour after painting them!

I hate the feeling of nail polish drying on my nails, so I never do it myself, but I do think nail art looks cool. I would never be able to handle those long acrylics and would end up snapping them the first day LOL, anyone who can may as well be a wizard to me.

I leave mine natural. I have no taste for fake nails on myself, or nail polish. Even then, though, I'm considering painting them because my natural nails are in an absolute state- I got the bad genes in my family lol. I do leave them a little long in case I want to open something that needs to be pried open.
