How do you decorate your small beach?

If you have a beach like the one in the top right;

I'm wondering how you've decided to decorate it?
Or if you've got any ideas. :3
I wanna make it look nice but i'm not sure exactly what to do with it ^^​

I put down beach towels (used a path pattern), then some sunglasses, paper, etc. so that it looked like people were sunning there. I put it all in an alcove with a few trees behind it. There is even a pattern around that looks like someone used a stick to make different shapes in the sand. So cute!!

yep i did what you did basically
I used patterns to put down a blanket/towel
and sand decoration patterns

its actually not my map, just a pic from google because i was too lazy to get a picture of mine haha. i ended up planting a couple banana trees along with some gold roses~

if i do get a tiny beach in my new town (which i probably wont) i would probably plant 1 tree and leave a flower or seashell. not every little part of a town has to be decorated.

I got a bunch or random shells and arranged them in a symmectrical(ish) pattern. I also buried a few shells to get star icons on my beach.

I hate it when Gulliver lands there though. I am not always carrying a wetsuit lol.

Since I want every fruit in my town, I included a few banana and coconut trees on my beach. However, I placed them out of the way because I want to fill my beach entirely with hybrids flowers.

Here is the reasoning: Many months earlier when I was a more naive player, a mentally challenged guest wrecked my town. However, when posting about the experience, many members here and at another AC community offered to help replace the bushes and hybrids that were taken.

And one of the most generous offerers invited me to her town, then told me to pick as many hybrids as I want from her hybrid-filled beach. I was so taken aback that I lavished that member with rare items as gifts, and have made it a long-term goal to fill my beach with hybrids so that I can likewise help someone who might unfortunately get his/her hybrids stolen and town wrecked.

Your beach is almost exactly the same as mine. I hardly ever use that part of the beach except to store my extra hybrids, so I didn't plant anything there (as it just has said hybrids on it). The rest of my beach has palms and pink, orange and gold roses decorating it, if I were going to decorate my tiny beach, I'd plant one palm and dot around a few roses so it matched the rest of my beach ^_^

I saw someone on tumblr a while back put bells on it and I love that idea! It looks like a little pirate treasure trove! And if you're doing this for the dream suite you could leave pirate clothes on it too.

That's one of the nicest things I've ever read! I too have had this experience and it's one of the most horrible things that can happen especially when you've just got the game. It really helps to restore your faith in humanity doesn't it?
I'm glad it all worked out for you.

If I had that tiny beach, I would try to do something nice and different with it.. Everyone uses it as a sunny beach sort of area so maybe you could use it for a different function?
Maybe a shipwreck using some patterns and some lost items for some mystery like the notebook and gloves?
Or perhaps a sea monster (again patterns on the sand like some eyes peeping out of the sand?) lives on that part of the beach and have some wetsuits lying around and those scuba masks for lost scuba divers?
Or perhaps some patterns that suggest something dragged itself out of the sea and then disappeared?
There's lots of things you can do with this little bit. ^^ I hope this helped!

Yeah, now that I think about it, the incident occurred not long after I got the game. And New Leaf is my first AC game, too. Fortunately, I already had as part of my experience playing the game online instances where people trusted me to wander their town without suspicion, who left gifts and kind messages at my station, etc., so that one incident never reflected on the entire AC community for me. Moreover, when I thought of quitting the game right then and there, the overwhelming positive response was part of the reason I decided otherwise, as it turned out I would not need to spend the next few months getting back to where I was, after all.

I hope you likewise got help from the community after the similar incident you unfortunately faced.
