How do you decorate with flowers on your island?

I'm trying to grow hybrids and am getting a lot of non-hybrids in the process. I've just got them planted in clumps scattered around the island. I do have one fenced area that is a small rainbow garden. Once I have lots of blues and purples, I plan to mainly use red, blue, purple, and white flowers on my island. In the meantime, I want to do something better than just random groupings. So, I'm looking for ideas!

I like to plant flowers on top of dark dirt paths since it makes them look like flower beds; if I find any gaps between my main path I'll decorate them with non-hybrid flowers that I've accumulated. I also have a campsite and "woody" area where I combine hybrids and non-hybrids along with different colours and flowers together and scatter them around since it gives it a more rural and wild vibe.

I’m also a fan of the wildflower garden look, it’s really pretty!

what I like to do is think of the concept of an area I’m creating first, and design the flowers and trees/bushes around that. It really helps.

e.g. wildflower meadow (all colours all flowers except very structured one like roses or mums)

Am planting a clifftop red windflower field that should end up looking like a sea of red poppies :D

built a brick-walled rose garden...
Etc!

little clumps of flowers around trees or tree stumps are nice too.

Blix: We're trying to line them up on all of our paths, but we also currently are using flowers in our orchard to block the space in front and behind of the trees so we can quickly collect fruits by running down the sides. We picked flowers because there's no risk in accidentally picking them up without a shovel and if you pick them on accident they'll grow back anyway! Also since they increase island rating^w^
