How Do You Cycle?

I would like to know how to cycle, as I am getting a new game to cycle very soon.
I know some tips, but I want to know other peoples.

It would be nice to be in a cycle group... I will probably be slow and I won't start for about a week, getting all of the beginner villagers and whatnot.

Yes, there are. A quick count a few weeks ago revealed that 45% of threads on the first page of VTP are marked with the tag "Cycling".

When I first joined there was 5 main threads with groups of people in...
I think that is much better.

If you dont care who ends up in boxes in your town, like for a cycling thread or for your own second town or something, i go 5 days at a time. Thats because once you load the game, theres a chance someone is thinking of moving. But they wont be in boxes until 5 days later. If you keep on jumping 5 days ahead, someone is in boxes, and you dont lose a villager. Thats what i do anyway

Your "I want to see new faces" is one of the reasons I want to cycle, because I know of few villagers, and i want to know about more of them!

When I joined, there was 5 main threads, and in those threads had about 3-6 people in
Now there are many, with only one in, which is clogging up the space so you can't see individual trades and stuff...

Yeah. Problem is, they won't merge so that they can get more attention because it's their and only their villagers.

I like to TT 2 days at a time :3 otherwise I'd either miss their move or they'd ping me to move and decided not to in the end because I haven't spoken to them at least once a day -.-'

I don't want to work with anyone. Nothing's wrong with people who want to work alone.

If you have a cycling town, so basiclally a secondd copy of thw game, i wish i did but unfortuneatley my parents think its a waste of money but ANYWAYS,you basically Time Travel(TT) then talk to villagers to see if they wanna move out and tell them yes to move out,then they say what date/day they are moving/in boxes,so on oyur cycling thread/thread that you cycle on, you put (Who Ever is Moving/In Boxes for example ill use bob) Bob is in boxes,(some poeple usually put an image of that character along with it, then void in 10-30min(or whatever suits you) and if someone wants him (although bob is a favorite dreamie ALOT) Then Whoever wants Bob or who ever that character is, would simply come to your town,talk to bob, and if that person who wants bob has no room in his/her town,then Bobwill say no and move randomly/give him away to someone else, and however if someone DOES have the space in his/her town,then Bob will say YES.

I cycle by TTing one day forward. I walk around and make sure I appear in front of all my villagers outside to see if one of them pings me for moving away. I save and quit then I TT one day forward again and I check all my villagers again. Then I save and quit and I tt 2 days back and check again. Sometimes I have to repeat this process to get the villager I want out to ping me.
