When I was Little I would wake up as early as possible then get pots and pans and run through the house banging them together like a madman. If somebody didn't wake up I would spray them with those cat water spritzer things. Then we would open presents and see where the day takes us
Now though, that my parents are not together anymore I go to my Dad's christmas Eve, sleep, open presents, go to mom's for the rest of the day (12:00 ish) then spend the rest of the day there. Very hecktic now. Still fun.

My usual christmas consists of my brother running into my room at 5 in the morning and yelling at me to get up so we can open presents. I always then yell at him that I will get up when mom and dad get up. Around 6 is usually when my parents give up and get out of bed and then we open presents for about 10 minutes (it goes by fast... haha). The majority of morning is spent laying around in pjs eating candy/breakfast and playing with the gifts. Around noon we get ready and leave for my aunt's house in new jersey and spend the afternoon/evening there eating dinner and spending time with relatives. Usually we get home around 10 and fall asleep instantly from being so exhausted.
