How do you celebrate new years?

Like the other days I guess. I used to play video games all day eating candies in the past, but this year I have to sort of the trash, clean the litter boxes and do the dishes. (will be fun....) To celebrate the New Year, I allowed myself to drink soda today lol.

I don't usually do anything for New Year's Eve. I'd typically spend it with family and my boyfriend. We both had to work yesterday and neither of us are drinkers or into club parties much. I was away on vacation last week so that's enough excitement for me. This year we spent New Year's Eve chilling until it was midnight and went to sleep a little while after. Today, I'll be visiting family for dinner but we rarely do anything exciting for it.

God, I sound so old saying that.

A bit late, but here's my take.

On New Years Eve, I usually stay home with my mom and babysit my niece. My siblings usually go out and celebrate my oldest sister's birthday (Jan. 1).
My mom, niece, and I watch the ball drop and (try to) eat twelve grapes in the last twelve seconds of the countdown. After they both go to sleep, I down a bottle of wine and watch TV.

On New Years day, we either make my sister's favorite food or go out to eat.

This year I stayed up until midnight, drank champagne, and went to bed for work in the morning.
