How do you bump a thread without it automerging

i want to bump my thread which hasn’t had any replies in like 4 hours, but everytime i try to bump it just automerges and doesnt bumo at all, HELP PLEASE ;0;

what forum is the thread in? depending on the forum the bumping rules are a little different and will automerge if you try to bump the thread too early. you can bump most trading threads after 4 hours and nook's cranny after 2, i'm not really sure about other boards though.

Ahhh okie hmm i was able to bump my thread by pressing some button at ther very end of the editing bar, it was in the nooks cranny
