How do Streetpass move-ins work?

Hi all you lovely people at TBT! =D

I have a question concerning Streetpass.

Yesterday one of my villagers moved out, so I'm down to 9. Today I streetpassed someone with ACNL (her house showed up in that place above Main Street).

Will I have a villager move-in from her void or whatever and if yes, when will the move-in be?

I once had a move-in through StreetPass, the plot was put down the day after the tag. I think it's only when they have somebody in boxes that it'll happen.
It's really annoying too, because often you're keeping it at 9 for a certain villager. Then you SP somebody and you're stuck with something you didn't want.

It depends. If the person has voided recently a villager, you should receive either tomorrow or in two days a new plot in your town :/
If the person didn't void anyone (which is good!) nothing will happen

Okay, thanks! I'll be sure to start the next 3 days with a new villager then, just to check it before starting with my mayor.
