How do I stop feeling this way?

What tiers your villagers are in doesn't matter. My villagers are in tiers ranging from 1-5 and I still like all of them. So if they're your favorite then great, I don't see how them being tier 6 makes any difference.

Almost all my villagers belong to lower tiers and that doesn't mean that they are useless whatsoever. If you like them, then it doesn't matter what tier they belong to; that is completely personal and you shouldn't feel disheartened just because your favorite villager belongs to the lowest tier.

I've never even looked at AC tiers because surely it's all down simply to personal taste. It's a bit different to say, pokemon tiers, since there's a lot more behind that (eligible TMs, egg moves, typing, etc etc).

I've never really looked at tiers to be fair.. When I first got the game (was brand new in animal crossing) I googled the list of all villagers, then I scrolled trough them and picked the ones I liked that I wanted in my town. I then realized a lot(if not all..? idk) of the dreamies of mine are tier 1 and 2. But I feel like that was just a .. "bonus"..? I loved them before I found out they were "popular" and I totally agree that we shouldn't see them as a status symbol it kinda pisses me off when people thinks your town is "bad" og "not done" or "good enough" because you dont have a tier 1 in your town.. its stupid

honestly? you could have 10 villagers that i hate and i'd probably still like your town. all i care about is whether they're in my town or not.

I have a lot of lower tier villagers, but I remember that the tiers only represent how many people want that villager. As aforementioned, it doesn't determine the quality of any villager! I take pride in my lower tier villagers because I love having them in my town!

I honestly try to stay clear of top tier villagers because they're honestly not really unique. A lot people have top tier villagers and they don't become as special to me when I know a ton of other people have them.

I only have a couple high tiers in my town, the rest of my fav villagers are names that no one ever mention ever lol... Like Dora, she is adorable and I definitely want to look for her when I have space in my town. (I had her for 5 years in WW, she is so adorable and sweet!). So yea, definitely don't feel bad if you like some animal that other never ever mention. It's cool that we all have different tastes in everything!

I have a mix of all tiers in my towns! Villager choice is entirely personal. It's your town so you can have whichever villagers you want. Don't feel bad about your choice. I never feel bad about having Chadder, or Hamphrey, or Prince in my towns. I like the character they bring to the game.

Just remember that the tiers of villagers don't mean so much! Take them with a grain of salt because some of my fav villagers are not well liked either! You should like who you want to regardless of where that villager is in the tiers, because it's the interactions you have with them that really count! ^^
