How Do I Quit the VIP/Exterior Decoration Challenge?

Currently trying to quit this challenege...whenever I speak to Lyle, there is no option to quit it. I've been told my game is glitched because of this. Is this true? Please help. Thanks.

There should be an option to cancel at any time. Are you positive you didn't overlook it?

Positive. I am speaking to Lyle now and there is no option to end it.

It could be glitch possibly but I don't understand how. Have you tried saving and quitting your game, and trying again?

I have no idea why it won't let you... I guess you might be stuck with it lol. o_o
