So I have a secondary 3DS with Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It now has no sole purpose but to hold items from my main town and stuff.

My new main purpose is to get over 1,000+ weeds. I know you can do it by time traveling, but so far, I got to about 200-300 weeds, which got me the bronze weed exterminator badge. I want to get to the gold weed exterminator badge by this summer. Once I'm done, I'll get the fishing, diving and insect badges by time traveling every month, but after I have got all of fishing, diving and insect encyclopedia completed each month, I might open the gates for that month and so.

How do you accomplish so much weeds? Tell me your secrets!

well i once got around 1,200 weeds just time travel ALOT.

go a year forward then play, then go a year forward BALAH

Is there even enough space in a town for 1000+ weeds?
Yup, if there are no trees, plants, PWPs, random holes and the breakable ore rock.

So TTing is the only trick. I have been TTing every month, maybe thats why...

I have about 1,600 weeds in a town I want to reset, at the moment. xD;

The trick is to TT years. Not all at once. Year by year. I think I went about 30 years for this many.

TTing is the best bet. :) My cycling town is basically all weeds at this point, haha.
Yup. That's why its my not active cycling town. ^v^

I know what you mean. TT one year, open up AC:NL, save and quit, repeat. Right?

Try to keep your villagers in the town so they don't move out then another villager will delete some of the weeds you've been collecting.

I like TTing in months to see who moves in and out, but I'll mostly probably be voiding them (even if they are tier 1 and 2). LOL.
