Hello ovo/)

I have a physical copy of ACNL and two 3DS systems. Is there a way that I can play on the same town as the mayor on both systems with the same copy? I put my copy into my other 3DS and it just gave me 3 options; new save file, move in, and update data. Which one do I do? Is there any risk of losing my town from any of this? Thanks in advance ovo

o-o That's REALLY weird!! It shouldn't be doing that at all. Your save data should be saved on the game cart and not the system. I use physical copies mainly for that reason, and that never happened to me. Make sure the file isn't corrupted or anything, that should only happen with a digital game D:

The game should load the same town on both 3DS systems. You likely need to update data so both systems have the Welcome Amiibo update.

Even so, it shouldn't even give them the option to start the game. I had an updated game on an un-updated system and it just plain wouldn't let me open the game without updating.

;w; i just tried that

it corrupted my save data

;w; HALP //cries

OH MY GOSH YOU POOR THING!!!
Corrupted town data is awful!! Please let me know if you need anything to help you get back to where you were!! I have lots of bells and fruit! D:

We still aren't sure exactly WHY the save data corruption happens sometimes, but it's awful D:

Wait I think I saved it! ;w; I put it back into the first 3DS and everything seems normal! Yay! ;w; I was scared there tho XD

Thank goodness!! I have no idea why that would be happening D: Is your other ds really really old or anything (like below version 10 firmware?)

Did do this as well. :3
I simply inserted the game... and it worked on my brother's 3DS. :)
On the bright side. You could have two towns! :p
