Well my res center is pretty close to the airport so I have a double waterfall entrance into my island. To the left of my res center I have a small play ground and I haven't decorated the back or the right side of it yet!

This is mine so far... I'm still deciding on certain things but I like the general idea of the garden going to my south beach...
Ehhh, I don't really know. I'm not too good at that part either tbh. For now I just have the fountain in the middle with an ironwood bench in front of it. Next to the hedges is a black garden lantern. The sides are filled with roses at the moment, I'll probably put down stone designs too.
The plaza contributes to my sleepless nights, lol. All kidding aside, I have probably reworked this area more often than any other areas (combined). I'm still unsure how I want it to look. I get inspiration when seeing others and decide to demolish it and start over...feeling like I'm in a never ending cycle, haha.

thanks! my only suggestion really is to plan ahead and give yourself enough room
i feel kind of squeezed with my current design, i kind of want it to be how parks are in the sims where you have chess tables and fountains and stuff at the park along with some of the kids stuff, sadly I didn't plan ahead and i dont have all of the items i need in order to test out how much room is necessary to build what i want without weird pathing issues or needing to scoot around objects :/

i cant have waterfalls bc i havent unlocked terraforming yet! any ideas that dont include it?
also how do you screen record? i know how to screen capture, but not record

When you hold down the screen capture square button for 1-2 seconds, it records all gameplay from the previous 30s. Then you can trim the clip in the data settings in the switch options and upload to FB / Twitter

there are great patterns on instagram that would work well there! you should go and try to find some paths you likeThis is my design right now, it's all very bare bones at the moment. I consider putting water right in front of it. It needs flowers and designs.
