How did you earn the ABD?

I'm in the process of trying to save up to receive the ABD.
And I was wondering how you all did it?
Did you catch beetles? Sell on the forums? Something else?

I'm just interested in how people earn their bells, especially large amounts.

I was close to getting it. Was at 77 mil now at 33 mil /: I earned 55 mil from selling turnips for 605

I'm at the 70mil mark on my way to getting the ABD, so far I've just been selling stuff on the forums and converting my tbt bells into in-game bells. The large amounts are usually tbt bells that I've converted into in-game bells.

Well, I do a bit of both, actually. If I have something I don't need, I sell it. And, things tend to go for quite a high price here, especially villagers. So, if there's a villager moving, I sell. Or, if there are some spare hybrids in my breeding patch, I sell. And, if I don't have anything to sell on here, I just catch and sell beetles. I actually do that little technique, where you leave the three palm trees at the top on both sides of the island, and clear out the middle part, leaving you with none of the useless bugs, and more of what you came for, and a smaller chance of scaring away the rare ones. To avoid messing up my own island, I do this on Club Tortimer, which, after I've explained what I'm trying to do, doesn't usually result in anyone getting upset. I've gotten a decent amount of Bells from it, so, I can't complain.

I think I sold 2,000 with a rate of 3 million per 100 TBT. Sold some Pok?mon for about three days to get them. And it took around an hour and a half to get all the money

I only have about 65M in game right now, but I started on TBT forums with 26M earlier this summer. Sold a few hybrids, a lot of rare furniture I received from other trades, and sold turnips once or twice. I prefer to stay away from turnips, it stresses me out way too much for some reason.

I also stock up on rare items on my island that I know have a low medal to high bell ratio - bush starts, silver axes, the more rarer items! Also, when people offer high buying prices for things they want and I have them - I sell right away LOL.

I also found someone today wanting to hire someone w/ a golden axe to cut down trees for them, dig up stumps, that kind of landscaping stuff. Took about 20 minutes, and I got a sweet 1M bells out of it!

First 70 mill I made with pure hard work catching bugs and fishing the rest I made by selling turnips. I cheated really but my second game I t/t until I found a good price on a sunday morning and then my other game just kept buying turnips from Joan and going straight over to my other game to sell, I did it all morning. I hope never to see another turnip! lol

I'd like to transfer all of that money to my other characters to unlock the ABD for them, but I think I'm too lazy :d

I brought and sold turnips with friends mainly, and traded perfect fruits to sell (now I keep them to give to villagers). I also caught high value bugs and fish. I transferred bells to my alt characters as I went so they got ABD's as well, even though I already had four 7-11 ABD's I prefer the look of the normal one for use in the houses.

I actually got mine for free after doing a trade with some really super nice person 8 V 8 and I ended up giving it to someone else for free as well after I got another one from the 7/11 set;; I wish you luck on getting yours pal! <:
