How did you decorate your town center?

Hello! I am looking for inspiration for decorating around my resource office. Mine is off center from the air port so I am not sure what to do with it.

I surrounded it in bush-fences and more bushes! Its not done, but i may send a screenshot once it is!
edit for more info: mine is off from the airport but its pretty close so its just a right turn from a path directly off from the airport, which i actually prefer more than if it were completely centred!!

For me, I turned the entire portion it was on into a full-on shopping district, putting the shops to the sides of it and the museum behind it. There a bunch of stalls and flowers, and even an outdoor cafe and an outdoor restaurant. It's gonna be one of the first things people see since it's pretty close to the airport on my island, so might as well go all out.

To stay on topic, I'm doing a more natural theme. I'm putting three paths (one on either side and below) that lead to the town hall and surround it evenly with trees and flowers. It's not at all centered with the airport nor near it but I figured I'd do something fancy with the path below it, make it larger than the other two.

I have a little waiting area to the left of the airport, next to the fruit orchard and a plaza with benches and a fountain to the right and in front of the residential services. It's all connected to each other with plenty of shrubs and trees to try and make it look nice. Not sure if it's my final design, but it makes me happy, even when my airport and residential services isn't line up.

Made a walkway lined with normal/apple trees, and surrounded it with bushes and more trees sprinkled in between. I had fencing surrounding it before, but the foliage is much cuter.

I used some fencing and bamboo trees on the back and the entrance is some hedges and waterfall leading to the airport.

Nowhere near done, but I planted my fruit trees around it (I'll add a pic later oh gosh it's messy though).

I terraformed around the entire back and sides then put my shopping center up there and around the front.
