My Tomodachi Life island was called Destiny. “Destiny Island” had such a ring to it for some reason. I named my New Horizons island the same thing partly due to nostalgia, but I also still like the name a lot.

I love Pap's name in undertale and since I love undertale so much, it was up there in my options. It was either going to be Papyrus or Polygraph (Polygraph because of YUNGBLUD's song Polygraph Eyes) but I ultimately decided on Papyrus, especially since I just done the genocide path and cried over killing him lmao

I have named my towns in every AC game after my cat Bella. She's turning 19 years old soon. 
Since I was planning on making a fitness-themed island since the game was announced, I already thought of "Flex" then adding city suffixes onto it. I've thought of Flexburg, Flexholm, Flexvale, Flexington, Flexester, Flexville, etc. I just settled with Flexmont.

I wanted to name it Marshmallow, but it was too long... so I went with CocoaBeach, which is a real city in Florida and close to where I'm from. Sometimes I regret the name, because it doesn't look quite right without the space.

I chose Hanamura because Hanamura is my favorite map in overwatch (I’m a filthy Hanzo main sadly)! Also, overwatch was my favorite game at the time, so yeah lol

My island is called Melursus, which is part of the scientific name for the sloth bear.
I just thought it sounded unique, so I named my new leaf town after it, and then I decided to continue that in NH.

I just assumed that everyone who uses the name Destiny is a Kingdom Hearts fan. Destiny Island is the starting location for the first game!

Suncoast used to be the name of a store I'd buy overpriced dvds at. Back in those days, $30 bucks would get you 2 to 6 episodes of a show

I remembered my vacations in Singapore and all the beautiful metro names, like Tampines or Somerset. I've finally chosen Somerset because it is more than 'just' a metro station in Singapore (but also a name, a county in GB...)

Alright, it’s a play on words, because I’m a loser, and it’s French, because my sister bought the game for me and she speaks French really well.
Le Cœur, which translates to “the heart”. Because... haha... “home is where the heart is (home is where Le Cœur is)”... yep.
It’s only by coincidence that I got the option of a map with the heart pond (which I totally took, btw).

I called mine Ohana because Disney/Lilo and Stitch. More of a panic sort of decision because I just wanted to play the game but I thought I'd make a Stitch flag too which I have.
My NL town was called Volans and I don't remember what made me choose that name but I put it into Google and it turns out it's a constellation so its every chance that's why I chose that name... and kind of gutted I didn't put more thought into my NH name.
