Do you feel like your town is spacious or confined? Is it the river? Trees? Pwps?

I personally feel like my town is small and I have no room for anything. I think it's mostly due to my river and how the houses are placed.

One is spacious, I found room for nearly everything. The other has no room whatsoever, it is likely because of the river shape.

It doesn't help that New Leaf is the smallest in terms of land out of all the game titles. Which is kind of silly when they make the game about being the mayor and breaking ground/adding buildings.

My main, horror-themed town is confined because when I made it I only cared about restarting from my original town because it was full of villagers I didn't like. The town had both Ankha and Lucky, who I was intending to acquire anyway, so I settled for it, but in retrospect I probably should have kept trying to get a better map and just adopted them later. The landmass is uneven and the RV campground is in a spot that makes no logical sense because I have no idea how the animals would safely drive the RVs there.

My second town is a bit more spacious but I feel maybe it's a bit confined as well. Sort of a toss-up, though I'd lean more toward confined if I really analyze it. Far better than my main town though.

My all-bird town is pretty spacious and I'm happy with it.

My circus/magic show-themed town is also pretty spacious and I'm happy with it at as well. The only real bothers that come to mind are a rock near the mayor's house and that I might have placed the mayor's house a bit too close to the Town Hall. The reason why that might be an issue is that I plan to put Illuminated Hearts on both sides of the mayor's house, but there might not be enough room. I'll have to find out once Bella stops being stingy and suggests the PWP.

Oh man, I have that same problem. I love my house placement, believe me I do, but I feel like I can't put any thimg around it to make it seem special. Plus the pathway is horizontal to my house instead of vertical, so I can't make it seem like a red carpet sort of thing.

I find Astoria is very spacious and it feels dull to me. I want to have one of those towns that has a lot of flowers, trees, and PWPs surrounded by pretty landscaping. Mostly my things are neatly placed with scattered bushes, trees, and mushrooms about. I just need to be more methodical when placing the trees and such, that's all.

both of my towns are very open neither one is very heavy with PWPs but i also cluster them.

in tuesday, my top left side of my town has my police station, town center, two villagers, a solar panel, the coffee shop, and retail, and then my right side has the rest of my villagers and me and my other save files' house. i have a lighthouse off by the beach and a small "park" by my right side neighborhood with a few benches, hammock, and jungle gym, but i also have very large open spaces. i need a PWP right on top of my plaza area

folly's more dispersed, but there's still HUGE wide spaces, especially now that danny went tree-chopping. i like having the space because it feels very free and natural and like a real town!

there's plenty of room for pwps and landscaping but i have so many flowers and clovers in town it's a lil hard to find empty squares lol
