How complete is your amiibo card collection?

I didn't look at this post when first started, too depressed about what I (don't) have.
I have bought from all sets, spent too much money on it. Not got a complete set of any of it, under half in each series. A lot of duplicates. Bought a few off ebay, but the poor packing put me off.
I could trade, but I find it stressful.
In the UK there were only 3 cards per pack, so it was difficult to get all the villagers without trading/buying singles.
And they are so expensive here, I've seen no sales of cards.
Yes I know we have the sanrio cards, its the only thing we have got with no duplicates and at a reasonable price. I'm still amazed that we got such a thing.
On balance it hasn't felt like a fair deal from Nintendo.

Got my first 2 packs today (both series 1) so I have a super long way to go *sighs*
I really want the Sanrio ones but they seem impossible to get. I'll have to wait until Saturday to look in a store that apparently sells them.

For Series 3 and 4 I did a preorder full with my local gaming store. For the Welcome Amiibo there wasn't a preorder but they kept a box for me. I was one customer that bought most of my cards from them. When I got the Welcome Amiibo full box they gave me a 10% discount.

Trading extras here and than buying the few other cards from Ebay completed my collection in short period of time.
Game took awhile to send the Sanrio card but they arrived in perfect condition.
Happy it's over now.

I am SO jealous!! It feels like I'll never be able to complete them all, there's just so many.

I only really cared about collecting the Special Characters from each set, which I've managed to do so I'm pretty content with my collection

It was easier to get the cards than. With the release everyone is having problems finding. The gaming stores during the summer got tired of the cards sitting on the display so they put them on clearance. Most of the stores like Walmart and BestBuy went to online in Series 4 and up. They got tired of cards taking up space and people stealing them.

The price jump on Ebay since the update isn't nice. The cards before the update there were a fair price. Paying 2 for a card wasn't bad since they gave free shipping. Now I've seen high $10 prices for one card and shipping. That's too much.

Lucky! I wish I had started collecting back then. I only started after the update, and it's really hard to just find them in stock, much less for a fair price. At this point, I don't even know if I'll be able to 100% complete it, since I'm definitely not going to be buying the cards from scalpers, and with them not being in stock I won't have any cards to trade with people. Lol. I wish they would increase production of the cards so it could be more available for everyone. I'd like to complete it before another AC game comes out, just in case they are compatible there too (they most likely will be).
