How come villagers never visit the beach?

In my town, I see Merengue, Cherry and Tangy walking down on the beach all the time, but no one else! They all live beside the ramps though so I'm pretty sure that's why i never see anyone else. I find it a nice addition that you can see them strolling along the shore, but it does make it a bit of a pain if I'm looking for one of them! >~<

Annalisa used to go on my beach nearly every day. Now that she's gone, it's rarer, but Benjamin and Willow do walk down there sometimes.

In my town, there's always a villager that goes to the beach while I'm playing. There are even moments when there are two or even three, and since I don't usually go down to the beach I can never find them, lol.

It happens but it's a rare occurance, and it only happens with the villagers that live literally near the ramp.

In my town, Tex goes down to the south beach every now and then... and when she lived in my town Velma almost always went down to the west beach.

I always seen my villagers walk on the beach. It mostly happens to one of my villagers. Say, Kid Cat. He moved near the beach slope, so sometimes he's down there.

I'm sure it happens, I just don't visit the beach often enough to notice. The only villager I've seen on the beach is Aurora, but she lives right next to a slope. I've actually seen Gulliver on the beach more than my own villagers.

I've seen it happen multiple times. If you have things like trees down there they also hide down there when playing hide and seek.

Sometimes they go on the beach. For example in London, I've seen Sly walking on the beach a lot.

Like everyone else said I've seen villagers that live by ramps on my beach. I wish I could catch one going down the ramp though!! But I don't think Nintendo programmed that in lol

Kitt goes down there a lot for me. She doesn't live RIGHT there though, so it's a little weird. Apollo lives literally one space away from the beach, he got as close as he could, and I never see him around.. So maybe he goes down there too? I'm not sure, I don't visit my beaches often.

Sometimes I have villagers on my south beach, and it's kind of a pain if I'm looking for them. I look everywhere else first before I remember that the beach exists, then I check there and they're hiding behind the palm trees. But yeah, the longer stretch of my beach always goes unused. I'm kind of glad though, it's a good place to breed hybrids without villagers planting crap in between them.

I never even thought about breeding my hybrids there..

Fang once spent most of a day on the beach...doesn't live near either beach. I've seen several other villagers on the beaches many times. Yes, almost every hide and seek game one is down there!

You'll always see them walking on the beach or around the area if they live near the ramp.

I had never seen a villager on the beach, so I just assumed they could not go down there. So this one time, I was playing hide and seek with some of my townspeople and looked everywhere, circling around town multiple times and even checking the beach briefly. I was frustrated that I couldn't find this monkey. It was the only time I ever lost at hide-and-seek.

Eventually, I saw a sheep on the beach and figured that the last villager was hiding on the swim access only beach.
