How can I upload screenshots to Miiverse?

Nevermind, I didn't know the game had to be open in order to upload the screenshot

It hasn't changed since it was first released so I don't see how the tutorials could be out of date...

But just press the home menu button when you get the screenshot you want to post, then make a Play Journal entry. It's the exact same on Wii U and 3DS.

Ah, okay. I should rephrase that - I meant some of the options have been moved around a bit over time, so that just made it confusing for me. I know that I'm supposed to make a play journal entry, but I can't seem to figure out how

Since you seem to have figured it out, I'll make a note that you don't actually have to write a play journal entry to get a screenshot anymore.
