How are your villagers' houses placed?

I'm just curious. Biskit, Felicity, Stitches, and Cookie live right along the east cliff. They live close to the beach. Mira, Coco, and Colton all live on the other side of the river where I put my house, which is by the waterfall. Also, the plaza is to the left of their houses. Bam lives close to two of my characters, and it's funny because they are both girls, unlike my mayor. Cobb is in the top part of town by the train tracks, close to where the river goes down. Cobb lives kinda close to Bam, but Cobb is the most secluded. Biskit, Felicity, and Cobb were three of my starting villagers, so I couldn't control where they put their houses. It seems like villagers like being around other villagers. Share how your villagers' houses are placed. Oh, and sorry that I don't have a picture. I have no way to take a picture of my map.

My villagers naturally placed their houses in a spiral with mine in the center. Seems they like to live in groups of two in my town.

Here's my map. Going counter-clockwise from the house closest to the plaza, I have Marina, Kabuki, Rosie, Marshal, Axel, Mira, Julian, Stitches, Ankha, and Zucker.

I am lazy to post pic (and my ds not even with me lol) So I will just describe. All my house plotting is couple or nearby with each other, nobody is isolated far far away from others. I encourage communication in my town so I make Katt and Walker stay next to each other, Blanche and Graham accidentally live next to each other but they make great couple. Molly and Bunnie (and former Nibbles) were 3 best buddies so I have Molly and Bunnie next to each other, while on the other top left side of my map, Roald is in between Bruce and Marina, I want Marina to be plot in front of Roald house but it seem like fate make Bruce and Roald be together, and I spend alot of time to plot reset Marina to have herself nearby Roald, as for my baby Barold, his house accidentally plotted near the train station, beside plaza and nobody else can plot beside his house (poor my baby!) but he have himself wander all around my town <3 and he is pretty close with Molly too~ <3

They are allllll over the place due to no planning whatsoever. one part of town, kabuki and shari are neighbours. Another part of town, genji, fauna, and dizzy are neighbours. Benjamin lives next to me. Maple lives near retail. i plot resetted to move elise near maple, and goose near fauna. Bunnie lives near town hall

They kinda flock to my Mayor's house. I only plot reset for Beau house, and I swear he's perfect there. I started plot resetting for Blanche, Hamlet and Tia (my most recent move-in, all from campsite), but I took at most 3 tries with all of them (with Tia not even resetting being fine where she first put her plot), I don't want to be too uptight with them. I'm fine as long as they don't destroy my paths.

And number 10, Anabelle, is moving out in a few days, yay! Then I can finally finish my bamboo garden between the pond and river that leads to my windmill and tulip topiary stereotype 'Dutch'-kind of garden.
