How are you getting ready for Gracie's fashion checks? (Or are you not?)

I catalog clothes on my TT account so when my non-TT town needs it I just order, TT and hand over items

I've been buying up most of what the Ables have sold, but I got rid of them as quickly as I purchased them. So, they're in my catalogue, but most of what I actually have on me are just official themed (I think).

Given that I just recently got T.I.Y., I should probably start stocking up to prepare for her, haha.

The only theme that is an issue is MODERN because most of the modern stuff is Gracie stuff. I have three pieces so it is enough to hopefully pass.

Can't agree more. It's been the hardest for me to put together a modern themed outfit too. Like you, I have managed to find 3 items only in that theme: blue retro dress, oval shades and clogs.

I waited till the day she showed up, bought the theme she asked for and did that every-time xD that way my closet wouldn't be cluttered.

there is one accessory from Modern that IS NOT GRACIE GRACE, the oval shades

The blue diamond shirt and the blue diamond tee are also modern and not Gracie stuff, so if you see them, grab them.

I just cataloged everything that was new. Once she started showing up for any fashion checks, I'd just order the missing parts in the mail that I physically didn't have and pick it up at 5pm. After that i'd get checked out and pass.

Just wondering, do you need to wear every item of clothing at once? For example, if I don't have matching socks, is it okay if I don't wear socks?

I haven't been prepping for this... yet. I love the idea of using the museum rooms for clothes closets, since I've run out of room at my house - and that's just with outfits I like to wear!

T.I.Y. opened up two days ago, so I should start getting things together. I've been dressing my character the way I dress IRL, so only skirts and dresses, but I suppose I could pick up a couple pairs of pants and sneakers to have in my catalog.
