I hope there is a way to update the house differently. I hate that the first room has to get to a certain size before addling rooms

I agree with this. Although it was good for the time to just wait until the first room reaches full size, Happy Home Designer allowed us to have more than one room before maxing out the main room. So I hope it follows this notation, but only after you reach 6x6.

I hope we can change the layout a bit, like move/add windows or hanging lights and rugs (like hhd).
I also have a small pipe dream for spiral stairs.

I haven't even thought of the houses that much. It would be nice if you paid off your loan and he asked if you want a new room instead of immediately expanding it. Houses would be way cooler if that was the case. I also want different sized rooms like in HHD with the long rectangle rooms and really giant rooms.

New Leaf required us to max out the main room before you could add other rooms. Happy Home Designer didn’t require that.

1. I don't remember New Leaf requiring that

2. I don't remember HHD having player-owned homes.

You sure you don't mean New Leaf?

Ohh, I really like the idea of being able to move and add windows and having hanging lights!

For me it was never a problem that we had to upgrade our main room first since I usually wanted to put more stuff in than I could anyway.. But it would be nice to be more in control of how your house gets upgraded! I'd also like it if we could choose where the doors are placed so you have more freedom with your layout.

New Leaf requires the main room to be fully expanded before adding more rooms/space. As for hhd, apples referring to the houses for villagers, I think.

I always wished we could have shelves on the wall too!

Well, there is this window which is already more detailed then in New Leaf, as it has shutters
on it (this comes from the Trailer where the player talks with Fuchsia, not sure however if it's
the players house or her house?)

So I kinda assume that they will bring back the options to change certain parts in your house
and more detailed villager houses from HHD.

Speaking of the spiral stairs, that's a wonderful idea and I didn't even thought of this. I would
love it if you could have different stairs.

Besides this, I also hope the way you can update your house changes in this game. I would also
like it more if you could update the house without wasting time to expand the first room first.

I'd love for there to be an option to have some kind of a swimming pool in your house. Maybe you could put one on a balcony, or underground? (Not sure if that'll happen, but we'll see.)

I'm thinking we might get something more like HHD, but I honestly don't really mind, either way. As long as we can build our houses as big as in NL, I'll probably be happy.

HHD had a swimming pool, which I think became an amenity in PC, so we might actually get that.

I hope they do something similar like in Happy Home Designer where you didn't have to expand the first room all the way before adding another. This was such a nice little detail. I've heard a lot of people complaining about in their New Leaf games that they wished they didn't expand all of their rooms and kept some of them small instead. Of course, knowing about your house loan, you might have to expand all the way, so changing the rooms to different sizes may or may not happen. Hopefully it does. Having the option to make rooms different sizes would be great!

I would like to see some more ceiling decorations and rugs for the house. It just doesn't feel like a home without those and there could be many different patterns to go on the rugs. Gosh, when it comes to the player's house, the list could probably go on and on. c:

I am hoping for much more appealing exteriors.

Here is such an example in this picture:

I love a good modern look. I would like for there to be color options. I look forward to the what is offered in ?Animal Crossing: New Horizons.?

since we're getting outdoor furniture i would be really shocked if they didn't give us more options for decorating the outside of our house. i'd love it if we could "pro design" certain parts of the house, like roofs or tiles or doors or windows. it would be fun but i doubt we'll get anything super detailed.

Yeah more freedom would be amazing. I'd also love it if they'd let you make houses with different shapes and have the rooms be seperated with actual doors like real houses. Happy Home Designer already played around with some of that and I feel like it's only natural to be in a mainline game.

Oh yes, shelves would be great! So many things to get excited about, so many chances for disappointment. Fingers crossed they're going to put a lot of this stuff in!

I'm really considering keeping the tent. I read that you can keep the tent so I'm hoping it's true.
