House Placement Question

Have a new villager moving in and they placed their house almost perfectly. I was just wondering if it was possible for the villager to move one spot further back towards the River Pool. I would like to have one more space back but I'm getting tired of plot resetting.

Tried posting the pic but can't get the file to a small enough size.
