House Originality for your Permanent Residents?

I gift them wrapped fruits and it does the job lol Reneigh’ should is a mess since she is a starter though, so she can get whatever.

I Actually leave their house as is since it's how i originally met them anyway. It's always a nice feeling seeing their characteristic homes ;-;

i do kind of care about their interior originality, hence why i only really give them foreign fruit as gifts aha

In previous Animal Crossing games, it didn't bother me. Now I only give them fruit everyday and ignore their requests for anything fish, bug, or item related. I feel like their houses represent the type of characters they are.

If they're going to stay forever, I don't really care. I generally try to give them stuff that fits their style anyways but I will complete their fish or bug requests (unless they want the flea, never the flea). Most of my villagers end up going to the void when they leave my island so I don't really care about originality for them either. Only if I'm holding a villager for someone, I'll try not to destroy them, no promises though
