House glitch help?

So I really need help? I have an amiibo card for Marshal and used him to kick Ken out but his house is completely glitched and still looks like Ken’s?

Marshal is fine, he’s walking around my island like normal but his house ( at least the exterior ) looks like Ken’s? I haven’t seen inside but I wasn’t aware this was even a glitch? I thought the glitch only would have occurred if I had someone come and adopt Ken, which I didn’t?

Is there a way to fix this, it’s really bumming me out to have a glitched villager?

sorry to hear about marshall. this is a known glitch in the system, sadly. i would first report it to nintendo's hotline if you are in the usa, at 1-800-255-3700 (bc the more people that do, the better chance we have of them fixing it good and fast !!)

I contacted that number, hopefully they’ll fix it soon, as all of these glitches are ruining the fun of the game for people. It sucks to have to be paranoid to use an amiibo card or adopt a villager from someone bc of this!

called em today about my own glitches, lol. crossing my fingers it gets resolved fast ! it's pretty mindnumbing. totally agree, hate feeling paranoid.

this happened to me with kid cat once, i just kicked him out then added him in again with the amiibo and his outside is now normal

Had a similar issue when I used an Amiibo to boot Gayle. Her house was there, but she wasn't. When I knocked, it said she had moved out. As soon as I was able to move another Amiibo in, I was able to permanently remove her.

My marshal did the same and took on biskit’s exterior. I voided him when he decided to move since idk if that would do anything long term. It’s a cool idea though for anyone who wanted a certain exterior on a villager

Eirrinn’s advice worked out for me!! I still hope Nintendo fixes this problem so that people don’t have to struggle like I just did but I have his normal house and am so happy rn!! TYSM to everyone and DKKDKDKD AAAAA I GOT MY SQUIRRELY BBY BOY! <3
