Yes, there's a Korean DLC item called the red-horned hat. But there are also horned hat QR designs, flower crown ones, etc. People get really creative about it. Hopefully I understood what you mean by "default."

if you're talking about the custom pattern hat look, it's a throwback to the early animal crossing/doubutsu no mori games on the n64 and gamecube
