Today I got a ride home from my friend, because I hate riding the bus and he can drive, but I can't. But anyways today was a stormy, rainy day and he was giving some of my other friends in our neighborhood a ride too, even though his license required him to have only one other person in the car with him, but we didn't care. We walk to to parking lot, get in the car, and start heading towards the turning exit from the school. Well, my friend has a Mustang, so we were all yelling, "Dude you have to burn out and drift up here! It's gonna be awesome!" He had done it before when I wasn't with him, but he said he didn't want to. But eventually we convinced him to do it before we got up to the turn. So he does it.
Next thing I know, the tires are screeching on the wet road, and my friend was wildly turning the wheel. We are sliding all over the place, even in the other lane. He turns the wheel the other direction, and I look through the windshield to see us sliding towards the 20 foot ditch on the other side of the road. I swear, I think the wheels touched the edge of road as far as possible until he finally regained control. He was driving down the road normally now, but all the other cars were just stopped in the road watching the entire time. It was so scary and it felt like I was a part of Final Destination. Everyone was freaking out, but especially my friend driving, his legs were like madly shaking out of control lol.
