So the main reason i always loved the holidays was because it was always the time of year that my family got together and my mother went all out for us ever since we were kids. The house was a christmas wonderland, we got a ton of presents, lots of food and drinks, it was a huge party for my family and so fun.
This year in January though my mom past away after a long battle with cancer. So going into this year its really going to be tough, especially because her birthday is a week before christmas too. all of us are doing our best to honor and remember and celebrate the way she always did.
I think the main thing I like about the holidays this year is because the decorations and the spirit of christmas reminds me of my mother and how amazing of a person she was. I definitely get my kindness and personality from her and the christmas time is when I feel closest to her in this regard. I know I will be really emotional during this first christmas and the whole month after (anniversary of her passing), but there is also a lot that will remind me of her too.

1. My favourite part about Christmas is the family traditions: the heirloom recipes, the tree trimming, movies+music, beach cricket and the general family gathering. It’s also a time that we can include my very disabled brother with a rare disorder can be part of a normal family function. He especially loves the music and movies I think.

1- I absolutely LOVE Christmas, I always look forward to it each year. Pinpointing one favourite thing is really difficult, I like so many things about the season. I love picking up our tree and decorating it together, I also love sourcing gifts for everyone and then wrapping them. I love Christmas music, Christmas lights, Christmas decorations,.. Basically anything that makes this gloomy and dark month look festive and cozy. I love seeing my family, since everyone lives far away from each other so we are rarely all together. I also love that for me Christmas is sort of like what I imagine Thanksgiving to feel like in the US: I take my time to think about the past year, about everything and everyone I'm thankful for, and I keep that in my heart.
2- In real life I'd be really happy with furniture for our new house, but that's kinda big so I'll leave it at this makeup kit I've been eyeing or a donation to one of my preferred charities. On TBT I'd love to get a Galaxy Egg, a girl can dream big.. And I'd gift Laura a Heart Wand, of course!

What I like about Christmas is that I get to spend the whole day with my fianc? and getting to snuggle up next to him while we sit and enjoy our day off together. Sometimes we'll cook something together, but mostly it's just lazing about and spending the day together.
What I would really like for Christmas is to have a happy and safe new year without any big problems in the way. What I would get for the person about me is the Switch: New Horizon's game when it comes out

My favorite thing about Christmas are the decorations and finding gifts for my friends and family <3 Christmas is so enjoyable for me. This Christmas I'll be flying out with my boyfriend to spend time with him and his family! It's going to be really fun and I already bought them all presents!

1 fav thing about Xmas, it's COLD here. I can finally wear scarves. Also that people are more giving.

1. My favorite things about Christmas.. the general feeling of joy and giving that a lot of people get. Also the decorations - I love driving around and looking at the decorated yards.

My favourite thing is the atmosphere. Not sure how to describe it, just that it's really exciting and fun. I want a stress free year at school for Christmas if I'm honest. I would get Liam a pokemon pin badge, I feel like that's something he'd like.
