Hobbies are throwing off my island plans

So, for most of the past two months, my plans for villagers on my island have been mainly dictated by species and main personality type. Like I want to try to have as much species and personality variation as possible. So my plans have always been one of each type of personality, plus an extra normal and lazy. I then kinda planned who I wanted based on the villagers I love, how to maximize the amount of species, and having a mix of old favorites and new friends. I though I had my dream lineup pretty much finalized.

BUT THEN WE LEARNED ABOUT HOBBIES! And now I am rethinking several choices!

In my quest for maximum island variety, I also want to have hobby variety! But looking at my current plans, I would end up with 3 or 4 music, 2 or 3 play (music and play are dependent on my peppy who I'm undecided on), 1 nature, 1 fitness, and 2 education. I would have no fashion villagers, which I don't want! And I know that this isn't a major thing but I do want this diversity on my island.

Anyway, I both love and hate the introduction of hobbies. Love because it is so cute and it gives them a bit more personality. Hate because it is throwing off my whole planned lineup. Which could be for the best! We shall see!

I didn't even know about hobbies until yesterday, but it all made sense.

I personally would like to have a variety of hobbies too. I currently have at least 1 of every hobby and I'd like it keep it that way if I can.

I also currently have 2 play. I was thinking to avoid any fitness villagers, but most of the jocks have that. It's not a big deal, but I don't like the fitness wear.
I'm still deciding on a snooty villager, ideally one with fashion as I have none like you. I wish the personalities were more spread out on some hobbies, like fashion?

Yeah I'll be very okay with having more music than any other type because I love the singing!

Exactly! Like none of my planned snooty or peppy villagers have fashion which I just think makes no sense! Why is Julia education? She would be perfect for fashion!

Yeah I've ended up having 3 dreamies with the nature hobby and 3 with education. It doesn't bother me that much since those are not "loud" hobbies like music, fitness or play, but still. My villagers observe the flowers and read books all day lmao

hobbies have thrown my final 10 list out of wack bc i have too many music villagers and i really want fashion and education villagers like ive rearranged my final 10 so many times idk who i want anymore
