Hello, I've been reading these forums for quite a while and decided to finally jump in. I've been playing ACNL since Dec. 25, 2015. I bought the game for my son, he was 4.5 yrs at the time. He showed very little interest besides naming the Mayor after himself, Jamie, and naming the town Animal (creative, eh?) so I play instead. I'm working on getting all the badges, completing the museum, getting the villager pictures, making the town pretty, etc etc. One day if he ever finds the desire to play, it'll be very ready for him 
Current villagers are Margie, Pango, Peck, Vic, Canberra, Soleil, Gwen, Samson and Paula. Vic is the only villager left that I started the game with, I'll never let him go, he's awesome I don't ever do the plot resetting thing, I just go with the flow. I'm not fussy with which villagers come and go, besides Vic, it's all in good fun, a great way to relax after a long day at work.
