dont get wii speak. it is a waste of 20 bucks. get a key board for about 10 bucks less, and on wii speak you can accedentily connect with a perv then they talk pervert.

I didnt really want to get wii speak becaue it doesnt seem necessary.

Actually could I just use the keyboard button at the bottom of the screen on AC?
I think that would be better than buying the keyboard, but I havent talked to anyone of there using it so I dont know.

Second, the keyboard on the screen works but it's awfully hard to use. A keyboard helps out a ton! I have one and it's super easy and helpful! Wiispeak is fine to use. I really like it. It's easy to talk to people. If you're afraid of swearing or inapropriate talk, you can just turn it off. Most people won't do anything, thought.
In my opinion, buy a keyboard if you'll be playing AC a lot. Then, if you want, get Wiispeak.

Yeah I will try out the regular one for now but once I get talking to people on the game I probably get the keyboard.

Well, you can get either at many places. I got both from Best Buy. There's a specific Wii Keyboard, or you can just use a wireless USB keyboard.
