I used to lurk around here in the New Leaf days but just rediscovered this place today, and realized that I'm actually starved for interaction with other AC fans... so here I am. Nobody else I know irl plays this game, so it gets a little lonely sometimes :'D

My first game was Wild World. I was REALLY young at the time and could barely understand English (it's not my first language). One memory that stuck with me is picking up acorns and wondering why you couldn't eat them lol

Besides AC I also love Pokémon, Puyo Puyo and the Rune Factory series! But nowadays the only game I play is New Horizons. I want to at least finish my island before moving onto something else, but idk if that'll ever happen cus I'm just constantly redecorating;;

Anyway I love reading other people's thoughts about this game sooo so much! I can't wait to start sharing mine now that I've joined! Thank you for having me!!

Hi Zerous, thank you for the welcome! I don't know if this counts as a theme, but orange & blue are my favorite colors so I like to make sure my entire island is full of it. Here's a picture I took today

I named it Ponkan after the honey orange! Btw I'm not sure what they're called, but the card(?) that shows up under your replies looks awesome! Did you draw it yourself? I also love that you have all the octopi, they're some of the coolest villagers in the game!!

That's a nice name aww thank you though! They're called signatures, and I did draw itjgfm
I actually need to update my signature though, because I now also have Cephalobot. I love the octopi, definitely some of the coolest villagers in my opinion.

OHHH ok I remember seeing something about signatures in the rules but had no idea what it meant LOL. So glad you told me, yours is very personalized and says a lot about your character. I'm going to look into making one too now

As for my favorite species, I used to have a lot of bears in New Leaf so a majority of them have grown on me. Octopi are a close second though!

i totally feel your loneliness. many of my friends have ACNH but never play because they got bored or gave up early on. not gonna shame them because the game isn't for everyone, but it definitely does get lonely when you don't have anyone to play with.

I love the island screenshot you shared! Your island looks so nice, and you have Teddy, who is precious. I'm actually in the process of inviting Teddy to my island by amiibo (originally I was going to invite a cranky bear, but I couldn't go past Teddy).

Omg y'know what I'm in the exact same boat. Loved RF4, got RF5 but never even started it! Though I heard it's kind of a downgrade compared to RF4 so I'm in no rush. You've probably heard there's another game coming called Harvestella & it looks like RF too but with a bigger budget, pretty excited for that!

Teddy is sooooo good you won't regret it, his expressions are great and he always makes me smile. I think you made a great decision

I can't decide on a number 1 favorite villager. I think it's tied between Rory, Teddy & Pierce (they all happen to be jocks LOL)
